Refund & Return Policy – The Essentials

Retail Customers

If you’ve changed your mind and need to return any item, you have 14 days from the date of collection or delivery to return your item(s).

Your item(s) must be:

  • Unused and with all original components

  • In its original packaging (with tags if applicable)

  • In a resalable condition

  • With proof of purchase

  • With any free items that came with the product

Refunds will be processed by the original payment method.

  • Card payments may take up to 5 working days to appear.

  • PayPal refunds may take up to 30 days.


Replacement Parts Warranty

  • All parts include a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated.

  • If your part develops a fault within 14 days, we offer an exchange, replacement, or refund.

  • After 14 days but within the warranty period, we will offer a replacement for the same or equivalent product.

Exclusions:

  • Samsung Service Pack Displays: 3-month warranty

  • Consumables (batteries, adhesives, etc.): No warranty after 14 days

  • User damage, water damage, or damage caused during repair


Refurbished Devices

  • All refurbished devices come with a 12-month warranty.

  • Faults within 14 days of collection/delivery → Exchange, replacement, or refund.

  • Faults after 14 days but within 12 months → Repair or replacement.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Cracked/smashed screen, scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage

  • Liquid or accidental damage

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Removed/altered IMEI or serial number

  • Battery capacity


New, Sim-Free Phones

  • Covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Faults within 14 days of delivery → Return to us for full refund or replacement.

  • After 14 days → Claim directly with manufacturer.


Repair Services

  • All repairs carried out by The Essentials include a 12-month warranty on the part replaced.

  • Water-damage & board-level repairs include a 1-month limited warranty.

  • Warranty covers the original problem/part replaced only.

⚠️ Warranty does not cover:

  • New/different issues

  • Physical or liquid damage after repair

📌 Devices must be factory reset or provided with the passcode before repair/testing.
